Sany’s SCC7500 crawler crane supports largest power plant construction in Africa

The SCC7500 crawler crane, produced by Sany Group Co has been successfully exported to Africa on Oct 2013, making new record in tonnage for Chinese cranes exported to this area.
The SCC7500 has been recently put into use in the construction of the KUSILE power station in South Africa, and finished its first lifting operation with its suspended load for 100 meters reaching 200 tons.
The KUSILE project is a key one invested by the South Africa’s Energy Department and State Power Corporation with 14 billion USD. With the total capacity reaching 4800MW, it will also be the most environment-friendly power plant in South Africa. SANY provides more than 40 equipment to the project, including 750 t, 630 t and 400 t crawler crane and 220-t all terrain crane.
