The Wheatstone Project is one of Australia’s largest resource projects – providing greater security of supply and significant economic benefits. Sany cranes’ high performance in Wheatstone Project is of vital importance to Sany brand promotion in Australian high-end market.
The Project is a joint venture mainly between Australian subsidiaries of Chevron and Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Company who are well known for their high standard and strict regulation code. Sany SCC8300 crawler cranes used in this project is targeted at the high-end market in Europe and America, complying with ALLTEST and CE certifications. The features and performance of Sany cranes are tested and verified by the customers.
Moreover, since the LNG and domestic gas plant is located at Ashburton North - 12 kilometers west of Onslow on the Pilbara coast of Western Australia, and the temperature is nearly always 40 Celsius high, it requires even more for Sany crawler cranes to withstand the sea corrosion and high temperature. To ensure a high standard construction on a tight schedule, Sany team was standby on the project for one month to inspect the operation data of three units of SCC8300 crawler cranes, calibrate the hydraulic deviation and maintain the cranes.
In addition, you could also find Sany cranes piling pipes on Brisbane bridge construction, hammering beside marine complex, lifting on Darwin beach, travelling and lifting beams and structural models on Karratha.
Believing in the mission of “Quality changes the world”, Sany Australia is committed to providing the best products and service to our customers.
