Positive Feedback from Experienced Drivers for Sany’s Newly Designed Empty Container Handler

From 26 to 28 August, 2015, Sany Europe invited two test drivers from 2 different port terminals located respectively in Belgium and Netherlands to test the machine for many hours. They were impressed by the first-class performance, the high lifting speed, the easy maneuver-abilities and the stability of the machine.

Meanwhile, Sany Europe caught this opportunity to have a face to face talk with people working in the field, collecting their feedback as new inputs for further improvements.

Based on a family design, Sany Europe will cover the complete ECH range with the same wheelbase chassis, and only mast, driving axle and counter weight are different. A “Design for Manufacture” concept was simultaneously introduced, where the assembly time (especially for the electrics) could be cut and productivity can be increased. Meanwhile, with the modular family design through the ECH range and with the HDFL range, many similar components could be used, that means thus increasing the purchase power can be increased and the warehouse cost could be lower.

Sany aims to take the leading position in European market with this product, because the ECH features the fastest lifting and lowering speeds, and proportional-control fine maneuvering. The machine is with one of the highest stability factors and the lowest noise level. All these main advantages were confirmed by two test drivers from the field.
