Sany Group Signed Clean Energy Cooperation Agreement with CPI and Andhra Pradesh

On January 11, 2016, Sany Group signed two agreements of 500 million kw with China Power Investment Corporation (CPI for short) and Andhra Pradesh state government of India. The agreements are Andhra Pradesh Clean Electric Energy Development Cooperation Agreement and Andhra Pradesh Energy Planning Cooperation Agreement.
The main planning of Andhra Pradesh Energy Development will include side analysis of primary energy demand, production and supply protocol, and an intelligent integrated energy management framework of the new capital of Andhra Pradesh. While this  5 million kw cooperated developed clean electric energy contains power plant that scrolling developing two sets of 1 million kw ultra-supercritical coal-fired units, independent or distributed wind farm of 3 million kw, solar power station and win-solar hybrid power project.
The agreement was signed by Tang Xiuguo, the CEO of Sany Group ,Hou Xuezhong, the CEO of overseas company of CPI and Jeffery, the principle secretary of Andhra Pradesh. Naidu, the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh , Chen Mingming, the vice governor of Guizhou Province  and Li Bojun,  the economic and commercial councilor of Chinese embassy in India attended the signing ceremony.
According to the content of the agreement, Andhra Pradesh government should provide Sany Group and CPI investment project with organizational arrangement including project approval (releasing power purchase agreement with electrovalence and internet access permission), information, etc.
Sany Group officials introduced that since the Indian Prime Minister Mody took power, Indian government put forward a series of development plans about Indian manufactures, cleaning India and so on. There are two main factors that make Sany invest in India, which are the active market and strong demands for energy in the future.
Andhra Pradesh is located in the eastern of India. Andhra and Telangana are two divided parts. After the division, the former capital Hyderabad has belonged to Telangana Pradesh, so Andhra needs to establish a new capital and industrial development zone. Combined with the unique charisma and leadership of its chief minister Naidu,now Andhra Pradesh has become a popular investment place in India even in the world.
Therefore, as the annual industrial grand convention of India, “The 22nd Session Confederation Cooperation Summit of Indian Industry” was also held in Visakhapatnam of Andhra Pradesh. The Indian Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, the Minister of Energy Piyush Goyal, the Minister of Trade and Industry Sitharaman, and Housing Minister M Venkaiah Naidu attended the grand convention. What’s more, the summit  attracted 1300 conventioneers from 41 countries, including the CEO of Sany Group, Mr Tang Xiuguo.
