Sany Heavy Industry selected among China\'s Top 100 innovative enterprises

Sany Heavy Industry has recently been approved as one of the nine pilot enterprises in China for the innovative projects, and it's the only construction machinery enterprise among the finalists.

Adhering to the philosophy of “all come from innovation”, Sany puts 5-7% of annual sales revenue into research and development. Sany has won the “National Science and Technology Progress Award” three times and “State Technological Innovation Award” twice, which is the highest honor in the construction machinery industry in China. By the end of 2015, Sany has obtained nearly 7,000 national patents.

Sany has self-developed a series of high-tech products in various industrial fields and holds the dominant position in market through independent innovation. At present, Sany ranks the first place in global concrete machinery market, top seller for five consecutive years in China excavator market, keeps a leading position in 250t and above crawler crane market, and top 3 in 50t and above truck crane market.

In recent years, Sany Heavy Industry keeps abreast with the trends of intelligent manufacturing, Internet of things and other innovative technologies, building a comprehensive system of intelligent manufacturing and internet of things based on big data storage and analysis platform, e-commerce platform and aftermarket business platform. The enterprise innovation ability and competitiveness of Sany have been greatly improved.

National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Science and Technology, State Intellectual Property Office and other government departments jointly hold the selection of national top 100 innovators pilot enterprises, aiming to thoroughly apply innovation driven development strategy, strengthen the status of the enterprise as a main body in innovation, create a system environment for innovative large enterprises playing the leading role, and form a batch of internationally competitive innovative leaders.
