SANY Foundation launches E-gene Exploration Initiative to support social charity

SANY Foundation launches its flagship grant project “E Genes Exploration Initiative” in China Charity Fair in Shenzhen, China on Sep 24, aiming to support the progress of charity industry.

SANY Foundation sticks to the mission of offering opportunities to the impoverished, supporting the ambitious to be more outstanding, promoting the industrial growth, and advocating the sustainable development.

E Genes Exploration Initiate —— assisting the ambitious to be outstanding 

E Genes Exploration Initiative aims to find charity programs of effectiveness, exploration, empathy, and entrepreneurship, echoing the philosophy of SANY Foundation.

It is committed to assisting innovative, pioneering and newly established public welfare programs regardless of its field, investment amount and register form. Besides funding, SANY Foundation plans to help the industry grow by providing customized support and resource.

The first subsidized public welfare programs are Serve for China, A Better Community and Bottle Dream. For example, Serve for China is initiated by three Yale University graduates, intending to cultivate excellent rural entrepreneurs and public servants. Other programs such as Art Dream, MyH2O have received small amount of funds and following support.

Education Aid——giving opportunities to the poor

It aims to help the poor get the education opportunity and attend the world’s top universities. Since 2014, 200-300 impoverished freshmen in senior high school from Midwest China have received the education aid. The candidates are given subsidy annually in their whole school life from senior high school, graduate, postgraduate and study abroad if they meet the requirements and give feedback regularly.

SANY’s charity programs also include Chinese industry upgrade and Sino-US technological innovation communication, rural development and poverty alleviation, Harvard China study program, drinking water purification in the countryside, China’s economic development and public policy study.
