SANY drilling rigs help build the biggest mosque in UAE

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, the biggest mosque in UAE and the third biggest in the world, is located in the capital city Abu Dhabi, UAE. It accommodates 40,960 worshippers in total and parks 400 cars. It has achieved three entries into the Guinness Book of World Records with the largest carpet in the world, the biggest chandelier plus the largest dome of its kind in the world. The structure covers an area of more than 22,000 square meters, and some 210,000 cubic meters of concrete and 33,000 tons of steel reinforcement was used in its construction. It is supported by more than 1,000 piles.

Along with the International top brands, SANY SR220C drilling rigs undertook the construction of the hundreds of piles of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. It finished all the pilling work for more than 1,000 piles timely with the execution complying with the construction specification.
